Services

High Holy Days Services are held at the WILSHIRE EBELL THEATRE, located at 4401 West 8th Street in Los Angeles (MAP). Rabbi Finley along with our lay cantors, Willie Aron and Jacob Kantor, will lead our services.

Tickets

OHT members are entitled to High Holy Days tickets for themselves and their dependent children, ages 12-22. Tickets will be reserved upon request with the completion of membership renewal and payment of dues. If you did not request tickets with your renewal forms, please complete the MEMBER TICKET REQUEST form and send it to the OHT office.

Services are $200 per person for non-members age 13 and up, or $50 for full-time college students with a valid college ID. Please note that the cost of High Holy Days tickets can be applied towards a full membership until November 3, 2008. Please complete the NON-MEMBER TICKET worksheet and enclose your payment if you wish to mail your forms to the Ohr HaTorah office or BUY TICKETS ONLINE.

Childcare

Childcare will be available on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings from 9:00am to 1:30pm. For more information and to register your child for Childcare, please CLICK HERE or refer to the HIGH HOLY DAYS CHILDCARE worksheet. Parents are welcome to stay with their children.

Prayer Books

We will use the 4th edition (2006 edition) of the Ohr HaTorah prayer book. The prayer book has complete transliterations for participants who can't read Hebrew. Some prayer books will be available for purchase at services, but to guarantee your copy CLICK HERE to pre-order it along with your High Holy Days tickets at our cost of $30 per book.

Yizkor Book

Our annual Yizkor Book will be published and distributed at Yom Kippur services. Please CLICK HERE or refer to the YOM KIPPUR YIZKOR BOOK form for details.
