The different chavurot and clubs at Ohr HaTorah give members an opportunity to gather with fellow OHT members in smaller, more intimate settings. In these groups, members of Ohr HaTorah share Shabbat dinners, study different aspects of Judaism, enjoy outings together and form lasting friendships.
Our chavurot are comprised of members who share interests and are at similar stages in Jewish life, while the clubs are made up of members of various ages who share similar hobbies or interests. The activities of each group are advertised in the weekly OHT Update and in special mailings to the congregation.

Chavurot
Religious School Families Families with children enrolled in Religious School (2-1/2 and up) come together for picnics, overnight outings, camping trips and other family-oriented events.
Men's Group Spirituality and masculinity mix seamlessly in Ohr HaTorah's Men's Group. This group enjoys discussions with leading intellectual figures in our community, participates in service activities, and ventures out into nature for invigorating exploration.
Women's Group Meets for brunches on Sundays with stimulating discussion, an annual weekend retreat and other informal activities.
