Janice Lang is currently Assistant Director at The Sherman Oaks Nursery School (TSONS) in the San Fernando Valley. She found her passion for early childhood education while actively participating at her children's schools. When Brian started pre-school in 1983, followed two years later by his sister, Jessica, she found herself volunteering and eventually teaching there for several years. As they entered elementary school, she began to volunteer there, and after working her way up to President of the Parent Association, she helped the school establish its Admissions program. She continued to work in elementary admissions during Brian's and Jessica's high school years, while volunteering as unobtrusively as possible. When her children were in college, she took post-graduate classes in early childhood education at Pacific Oaks and decided to return to pre-school in 2000. This time working as an administrator, she has found her calling. She is most happy touring young parents and talking about the exciting growth and development that occurs in children prior to their starting kindergarten. Janice is happy to be working with such a talented team to bring a pre-school program to the Ohr HaTorah community.
